My PhD in Comics, 2025 edition

From the ocean depths to the laboratory bench, deep sea bacteria to combat respiratory diseases.   Congratulations to Alexis DAVID for taking part in the third edition of ‘My PhD in Comics’.He collaborated with Pellichi, PhD in biology and mangaka, to create a comic strip illustrating his thesis. For the PhD students, this experience is an opportunity to learn about scientific outreach, because putting their work into pictures requires discussion and follow-up with the illustrator. He will be calling on their ability to explain their thesis subject in terms that are suitable for any audience. The aim is to show that science is accessible to everyone and that the different disciplines and approaches offer a variety of experiences.
